What the assessment asks

Your answers about: your course start date; where you normally live; whether you will be under 60; a UK status category; whether you have lived in the UK for 3 years; your previous study, where it was taught and how it was funded; whether personal circumstances affected your study; your goal and any course you are considering.

Optional questions ask where you will live, whether you have children or an adult who depends on you, and whether you have a disability or long-term health condition.

We do not ask for passport numbers, share codes, immigration document numbers, National Insurance numbers, medical diagnoses, medical descriptions or medical documents. Please do not enter them.

Why we ask

Only to work out your estimated funding position, possible education routes and next steps.

Where your answers are kept

Your answers are saved only in your own web browser on this device, so you can come back to your results. They are not sent to us and we cannot see them.

How long they are kept

Your answers are deleted automatically 30 days after you last changed them. You can delete them at any time with "Clear my answers" or "Start again" on your results page, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Using a shared device

Anyone who uses this browser on this device can see your saved answers. Use "Clear my answers" when you finish.

Website hosting

This website is hosted by Lovable, which processes technical information such as your IP address in order to deliver the site. We have not added analytics, advertising or tracking to this site.

If you contact us

If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply to you.

Sharing, marketing and referrals

Your assessment answers are not shared with education providers, advisers or marketers. Completing the assessment is not consent to marketing, provider referrals or adviser contact. Any future referral would need a separate, clear choice by you.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. Because your assessment answers stay in your browser, we do not hold them. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
